(1975) is a Western film about a young pioneer boy named Sam who ventures into the Utah wilderness to rescue his sister, Charlotte, after she is kidnapped by a Native American tribe. Assisted by a grizzled, alcoholic trapper named Russian, Sam must face dangerous terrain and pass a test of courage called the "Crooked Sky" to win her back.
